About The Match

Chasing Australian total of 293 runs, India scored the winning runs with 13 balls remaining and five wickets in hand. Three 70-run-innings by Indian batsmen wasted Australian opener Aaron Finch’s century. Three seventies were scored by Hardik Panday, Ajinkya Rahane, and Rohit Sharma.

Having won his first toss of the series, Australian captain Steven Smith decided to bat first on a seemingly flat surface at the Holkar Stadium. The opening pair of Finch and David Warner took a slow start and added 70 runs to the scoreboard in 13 overs, after which Hardik Pandya sent Warner back to pavilion.

Finch and Smith stood strong with individual scores of 124 and 63 respectively, thus giving the visiting team a mounting total of 294 runs to defend. Aaron Finch returned from a calf injury to become the first Australian opener since Shaun Marsh in 2009 to score an ODI century in India.

For India, pacer Jaspreet Bumrah bowled an impressive 10-over spell of two wickets for 52 runs, while spinner Kuldeep Yadav bagged two wickets at the cost of 75 runs. Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal and Hardik Pandya chipped in with one wicket each.

Australia made two changes for this all-important ODI. Aaron Finch and Peter Handscomb replaced Hilton Cartwright and Matthew Wade respectively. India did not make any changes. Umpires were Marais Erasmus and Chettithody Shams Uddin, and Match referee was Jeff Crowe.

KPL 2017: Hubli triumphs despite Bhat’s brilliant five-for 20

kpl 2017 betting tips

Hubli Tigers have made a fantastic triumph for their second win in the Karbonn Smartphones Karnataka Premier League 2017,  powered by Cycle Pure Agarbathies, after Bengaluru Blasters, being led by Abhishek Bhat’s brilliant performance of 5 for 20.

Putting a determined defence of 102 for 8 at the S.D.N.R Wadiyar ground in Mysuru on this Wednesday (6 September), Hubli reached the score in 19.1 overs and finished for 103 for 8 with a two-wicket win.

The only consolation that came up for the other team was Bhat, who became the first bowler this season to claim the purple cap as we tell in our cricket betting tips free.

Hubli began with their perfect start with R Vinay Kumar, the captain. Rajoo Bhatkal poked at an out swinger just by the third ball of the match. Later in the next two overs, Bengaluru’s second wicket went down in the form of the 17-year-old Nikin Jose. Abishek Sakuja, the left-arm spinner as introduced in the next over promptly took the third wicket of the afternoon, with M Vishwanathan (2).

The crucial duo of Shishir Bhavane and Pavan Deshpande went into the battle together taking the process ahead. Even though, the ball wasn’t actually coming onto the bat, and the batsmen kept struggling hard to go after the bowlers for making the things happen. Towards the end, Bhavane (4) took charge at Ritesh Bhatkal. Sooner or later finally, Bengaluru came down to a score of 29 for 4, till then leading to a gradual score of 102 runs only.

The Hubli spinners – Praveen Dubey and Sakuja were finding things a little difficult initially. It was hard grabbing the runs. However, with utmost motivation, Deshpande (25 off 28) came on the track, and started attempting big hits later. Their up-roaring game flash led them to the victorious triumph and they landed into the victory. Despite this, Bengaluru’s efforts were obviously awesome and this spread smiles on the faces of both the teams.

Brief scores: Bengaluru Blasters 102 for 8 in 20 overs (Pavan Deshpande 28, Manjesh Reddy 30; Abhishek Sakuja 3-20, Aman Khan 2-12) lost to Hubli Tigers 103 for 8 in 19.1 overs (Vinay Kumar 28, Praveen Dubey 32*; Abhishek Bhat 5-20, V Koushik 2-17) by two wickets.

Man of the Match: R Vinay Kumar (Hubli Tigers)

Important family matter makes Guptill leave CPL 2017- Betting tips

Martin Guptill , the New Zealand’s opener  has finally returned back home in mid of the Caribbean Premier League 2017 because of an ‘important family health matter’ as reported by on this Friday (August 25th).

This 30-year-old batsman was captaining the captain of fourth-place team of the Guyana Amazon Warriors for this Twenty20 league.

Due to certain important family commitments, he is going to be missed for the remaining games of this competition.

As reported, Guptill and his lovely wife Laura McGoldrick are actually expecting their first child in the next month and obviously no father would like to miss this opportunity. Thus, he has taken this decision of in mid leave from the tournament.

On his departure, the operations manager of the Warriors, Omar Khan said, “It’s unfortunate and hugely disappointing to lose Martin at this stage of the tournament but we empathise with his situation and he has our full support as he returns home to his family.” Being at such a critical point of the competition, his absence is definitely going to felt for the rest of the matches the team is going to face.

Guptill has scored 142 runs during the seven outings and was sharing his fourth year with the team Warriors.

As a replacement, the retired New Zealand batsman, Luke Ronchi has been pulled in at his place. He is a wicketkeeper-batsman and had quit international cricket in June this year itself. After finishing his stint with the English club Leicestershire, he has been available after the team’s elimination from the ongoing T20 Blast with a nine-wicket loss during the quarterfinals of the Glamorgan.

“We welcome Luke to the Guyana Amazon Warriors family and his wealth of experience and explosive batting in this format will certainly be an asset to our team,” said the administration of the Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Ronchi during his matches had scored a remarkable 429 runs during the 15 matches for Leicestershire that includes 3 half centuries, at an average of 33 and his running strike rate was 180.25. we wish that they caome back and again join the cpl and make her team win
