ABOUT BPL 2017
Bangladesh premier league or BPL 2017 is a cricket league that consists of the seven different teams that is based on the seven largest cities of the Bangladesh.
BPL is organized in the month of November every year in Bangladesh and each team plays twice with each other in the Tournament.
At the end four teams make their way to the playoffs, a single-elimination games and two qualifier games in the championship match, between the winner of eliminator and qualifier two.
The Bangladesh premier league is governed by the Bangladesh cricket board and BPL governing council.
The format of the tournament will be Round-Robbin and playoffs. The BPL was founded by the Bangladesh cricket board in the 2011.

ABOUT FIRST SESSION
The first season of the BPL was held in the year 2012 and the matches were played at Dhaka and Chittagong.
The BPL is among the most famous T-20 leagues played in the world presently. Dhaka Dynamites have won the most titles in the BPL history winning three tiles having won the titles in 2012,2013 and 2017.
Other than the Dhaka Dynamites only Comilla Victorians are able to win the title only once. The BPL’s first season was announced on 9th Feb,2012 at a lavish ceremony held at home of Bangladesh cricket Board.
The recent tournament was won by the Dhaka Dynamites who defeated the Rajshahi Kings in the fourth season of the BPL.
The league contains of highly skilled cricket players belonging from 11 different countries in the world.
Four different sponsers have taken part in the league namely Destiny Group, Prime bank limited, BRB cables and Abul Khair steel and Shah cement.
